More on the bogus award issuer...

Pagani is the head of Pagani Public Affairs - a media consulting firm - who also seems to have no employees beyond Pagani. It does list some references of Pagani's associates, Tom Foley who lost as the GOP candidate in the race for Connecticut Governor in 2010 and Ross Garber who was the Republican candidate Connecticut Attorney General. Garber not only lost big, but was slapped with a defamation suit by his opponent.

Both sing Pagani's praises of political communication expertise despite the outcome of their elections.

The one reference Pagani leaves out is his longtime day job as Communications Director and Chief of Staff for the Connecticut Governor's office from 1996 to 2004. Weird, it's an important job. He doesn't even name the Governor he worked for in his LinkedIn page.

Could be because that Governor was none other than Republican, John Rowland? Pagani's employment was cut short because Rowland resigned over corruption charges and wound up going to jail for 10 months.

Yep, the guy who was Chief of Staff to a jailbird Governor for eight years, who went on to run sleazy campaigns for other Republican losers, opened himself up a one-man website devoted to the new wave of Republican Governor's has named Scott Walker "Governor of the Year."

Beautiful.

BTW - Your "Governor of the Year" award is laughable at best.
The awarding organization, Governor's Journal, has been in business for one year. Founded in December of 2010, it's only is employee is Dean Pagani himself. It has no Board of Directors, it has no staff or faculty type listing.

5. Pushed to repeal or ignore clean water laws, jeopardizing public health and benefiting corporate polluters who donated millions to support Walker’s campaign and initiatives

6. Locked down the Capitol in defiance of a court order, to slow access during legislative sessions

7. Shut down legislative hotline in midst of controversial session

8. Implemented unprecedented budget “Extraordinary Sessions” to circumvent normal operating rules

9. Put WI in the LEAD for lost jobs the last two months in a row.

I could go on and on, but then this post would be much too long. I will, however, include my number 10:
The worst thing this Governor has done, IMO, is cause neighbors to turn against neighbors, and family members against each other, all because of his radical non-negotiable style of pitting class against class.

I can't wait until he's gone.

@Mary - did you see your "worst governor ever" was just named governor of the year? Also, it is good riddance, not thank riddence. You can't just recall a politicial every time he does somthing you don't like. Other than Act 10, what has Walker done that deserves a recall?

I didn't like almost everything Doyle did, but I wouldn't have wanted to waste the taxpayers hard earned money on a recall. We do have a 4 year election cycle. What a terrible waste of time and money. I can't wait to cast my vote for Gov. Walker.

I travel daily, as part of my job, throughout Northrn Wisconsin, and I am very encouraged by what I have seen, especially in the last 2 weeks, that show a groundswell of support for Gov Walker. People that were fearful of openly supporting Walker because of retaliation, cars getting keyed, hostility on the highways, even thug tactics of physical intimidation. Just yesterday, on a stretch of HIghway 23 east of FonDuLac to Sheboygan, I saw Dozens of Lrge Scott Walker signs, the really big ones not the small that can barely be seen and not one Recall sign, of course this diminished in the Union city of Manitowoc, but even there it was at least 50/50, which is a far cry improvement from my last visit. And the killer was a HUGE 4X8 plywood hand painted sign that read "WALKER FOR PRESIDENT! I had to smile.

I object to this recall procedure because it is a political attempt to overturn a valid election.

Every vote cast for Walker is negated by the recall signatures. Those signatures are not votes, they are signatures. And as in the case of the guy who signed eighty times, his signatures are voiding properly cast election ballots. Shame, shame, shame.

Now, I have several reasons for opposing their recall of Governor Walker. Chief among them is my preemptive opposition to whatever freedom-hating, bubble-wrapped tax lamprey the Union Party of Dane County and Most of Milwaukee – a.k.a. the Wisconsin Democrats - will serve up to replace him.
