If the workers unionize, the business is FORCED to negotiate with them.  Libertariansm is based on a stand AGAINST the initiation of force to achieve an end.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dr. Tim has it right - in a truly free society a worker would be free to join or not join a union, and the business would be free to either recognize and negotiate with the union or not.
